IMPORTANT -If you have not been on my hikes before, please read this entire write up. This is a strenuous hike. For advanced moderate and advanced hikers.
Please note the TIME — and please don’t be late, as we aim to leave on time, 5:30 p.m. Masks are required, and we will practice social distancing.
The hikes are about 2 hours long and about 4 miles, and those miles include steep ascents and descents, sometimes on single track trails. Some trails are uneven and slippery, so you must wear good hiking shoes with lug soles.
We move at a fairly rapid pace. but pause occasionally to enjoy the scenery, smell the flowers, and take pictures of the amazing views.
Don’t forget to bring water and again, you can’t hike without a mask.
Please remember you must be able to keep pace with the leader. If you are not able to keep up, you will be directed back to the parking lot, or shown an easier path to take.
A note re TIME — My hike start times change occasionally, depending on the weather and the time of year. Please check the start time when you sign up, but an e-mail will be sent out whenever the time is changed. Also, a start time of 5:30 means the hike STARTS at that time. I might wait a minute or two, but if you come at say, 5:33, we might be gone, so arriving by 5:15 might be a good idea.
